This location of SPA Castle is a 5 story high, 100,000 square foot luxury spa which includes traditional Asian saunas and innovative European spas. They offer a variety of spa services with a prevalent theme of aquatic relaxation whirlpools and saunas.

Project: Design/Engineering/Installation of New Life System

Challenge: FES was contracted to work closely with the owners to design, install and fully engineer life safety system at the College Point, NY location.  It was crucial that FES work extremely close with the plumbers to design the water system which was a huge part of this spa. The spa is loaded with mist rooms, pressure baths, whirlpools, saunas, heated floors and indoor/outdoor swimming pools. This location needed safety and early problem notification, monitoring water pressures, temperatures and steam leakage.

Solution: The spa has a number of special designed heated areas such as igloo-type spaces that were designed for water-based therapeutic healing.   We installed an FCI-E3 control panel was tied to the HVAC system, elevator system and entire sprinkler systems throughout the building.  We programmed an integral announcement system and full supervisory alarm system.
